Happy Birthday Marla!!!!

A few weeks ago we all got together to celebrate Marla's birthday. We headed Downtown to a fun restaurant and had a yummy dinner. After dinner we went over to the Sandbar, but it was raining so last minute we decided to go to midnight Bingo, what a blast that was.

Cousin Carrie Comes West....

Last month we had a special visit from our cousin Carrie from New Jersey. Our family is so small so getting to spend the weekend with family and make memories was awesome. Carrie, Lisa and I drove to Palm Springs for the weekend and had the best time. The weather was beautiful, the company was SO fun and our spa day was the BEST! We all laughed so hard and had fun reminiscing about all the old times.

 

Lisa and I did a little shopping at the outlets and I got a new Coach purse. What's a weekend away without a little retail therapy. Right?

 

Thanks so much for coming to AZ cousin Caarrie!!!!! We love you!!!!

 

 

Mom's Birthday at Sushi San....

We celebrated Mom's birthday at Sushi San and had a great time. Since Mom travels six months out of the year it is always nice when we can celebrate a special occasion together. J and J love any reason to have cake and candles.

Jeff O's 45th Birthday....



We had fun celebrating Jeff's surprise birthday in October. Sandi had t-shirts made with all types of sayings on them and gave each of us a shirt. Jeff is always working and is rarely able to join social events so these t-shirts were perfect. We all met outside the BMW dealership and showed up wearing the t-shirts. Jeff was very surprised and enjoyed all the work Sandi put into the evening. We headed over to RA for a yummy sushi dinner and then to the Sand Bar for some dancing fun. Happy Birthday Jeff! 

 



J-Crew, Soccer and The Loves In My Life...

Wow! Time just flies by. Here in Arizona we push the Summer's away because it is SO hot and before you know it the holidays are here. A few random things that I wanted to post about.

 

 I love that even though life is so crazy every month Mike and I get together with this great group of friends. We have many great friends in our life, we are very blessed, but we have been through a lot with the J -Crew. 

 

 This kiddo is the best! He is playing Soccer for his fourth year and is doing so well. I think I really needed to post this picture so I never forget these bright yellow/orange kleets. Jayden had his Daddy running to three different stores to find the perfect ones.

 

Family picture day!!!! When I say I love these three, it's like my heart comes out of my chest. I remember the moment I met Mike and fell in love, looked at Jayden for the first time and knew I was forever in love and held Jordan and fell in love with him. Being a wife and mother is all I ever wanted. Every year we take these pictures and add to the memories. I am beyond lucky to be the wife of Mike Callison and the mother to Jayden and Jordan. Just SO blessed!!!!

Schnepf Farms Day 2013....

Every year its a tradition that Mike and I take the kids to Schnepf farms for pumpkins. This year we invited Sandi and Marla to join us since we were all on Fall break together. The kids had a blast running around, riding the rides, and picking out pumpkins. Our day came to a pause when Tyler got hurt on a parachute jump and twisted his ankle. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a fractured foot. We were sorry to have to see our friends leave early but we knew Tyler had to get to the doctors. The mood was a little dimmer after that happened, so we grabbed lunch and picked out our pumpkins and headed home. Overall it was a fun day with some fun new memories.  

 



Mom and Tom Get Married....

So, don't you think you have to be pretty lucky to find love three times? I think you do! Well my Mom found love again with a great man and they got married. It was a very casual atmosphere (Justice of the Peace) with a nice dinner that followed. Mom and Tom are as happy as two lovebirds. I hope they continue to enjoy happiness and health!!!

 

 

1st Grade Consecration...

Usually on Friday nights all I can think about is getting home and relaxing, but going to a special Shabbat service always makes it worth it. A few months ago Jordan's class had their1st grade Consecration. It was such a special evening and it was so great seeing Jordan on stage singing with his friends. Each child got a certificate and a small Torah. There is something so special about going to Friday night services after a crazy and full week. I love sitting down and reflecting on the week and thinking how blessed and lucky I am. It is so easy to get caught up in the craziness of life, but sometimes stepping on the brakes is a good thing.
